The Cosmobots compete in FIRST Tech Challenge, but the robot is only one output of the team.
Mechanical design, fabrication, controls, autonomous development, scouting, documentation, fundraising, and public outreach all run in parallel. Every subsystem has an owner, but design decisions are reviewed across the team because a faster mechanism is useless if software cannot control it or the pit cannot service it between matches.
Work on BioBuzz begins with the same standard used during DECODE: define the constraint, model the solution, build the smallest useful test, record the result, and revise from evidence.
Mechanical, programming, strategy, and outreach responsibilities are assigned across one integrated team.
Financial and in-kind support has funded hardware, tools, travel, testing, and community programs.
Worldwide non-penalty, autonomous, and driver-controlled scoring all placed within the top one percent.
Hands-on programs have brought robotics into schools, libraries, colleges, and community spaces.
